Parachute is the flagship brand of the Indian consumer goods company Marico Ltd. Under this brand name, Marico produces high-quality and 100% pure coconut oil, coconut-based hair products and coconut-based body lotions (branded as Parachute Advansed). The first coconut oil branded as Parachute was produced in 1974 by Bombay Oil Industries. Marico Ltd. was officially founded in 1991.
