Lavender Bath Salt is produced by the Ukrainian personal care brand Home Doctor. It is a natural product based on sea salt derived from the water of Saky Lake (Crimea) and enriched with lavender essential oil and extract. Can be used in balneotherapeutic procedures, including home spa treatments.
Saky sea salt is derived from the water of salt lakes located in Western Crimea. It is widely known for its therapeutic properties and thus it is often used in spa treatments. As the key ingredient of Home Doctor bath salt, it is combined with lavender extract and essential oil that have an antiseptic effect and stimulate skin cell regeneration. Lavender is widely known for its aromatherapeutic properties. It has a relaxing effect, relieves fatigue and helps to cope with insomnia.
Mineral composition. Home Doctor's bath salt contains potassium and sodium that help to normalise water and salt metabolism in skin cells, calcium that improves coagulation (blood clotting), magnesium that helps to relax the muscles and prevents allergic reactions, iron that improves oxygen transport, and sulfate ions that help to get rid of heavy metal salts.
Additional ingredients. Lavender essential oil, lavender extract.
Mechanism of action. Sea salt normalises skin cell metabolism, provides your skin with minerals, improves its elasticity and helps to get rid of toxins. At the reflex level, salt effects the nerve endings in the skin and stimulates the production of substances that regulate metabolism and help to relieve pain.
Directions. Dissolve 100 g (4–5 tbsp.) salt in warm water (35-39°С). For a pronounced balneotherapeutic effect, add up to 500 g salt per bath. Take a bath for 10–20 minutes every day or every other day. 10–15 baths required for a visible therapeutic effect.
