American beauty brand Nubian Heritage presents its Raw Shea Butter Soap enriched with myrrh, frankincense, and soy milk. The product is suitable for all skin types, but it is especially great for taking care of combination, dry, and sensitive skin. It has protective and healing properties, prevents premature skin ageing.
Shea (karite) butter has been used as a personal care product and cosmetic ingredient for centuries, it’s a staple of African pharmacology. It’s primarily used as a moisturiser. According to historical evidence, Cleopatra used shea butter to keep her skin young and beautiful. This oil is rich in essential fatty acids that hydrate and soften the skin. Nubian Heritage’s soap is formulated with unrefined, pure shea butter that has preserved all its useful properties.
Along with shea butter, the soap contains frankincense and myrrh, two well-known incenses. They are valued not only for their aromatic properties. Frankincense has a toning and anti-ageing effect on the skin, and myrrh has been used to combat skin problems for centuries due to its antiseptic properties. Myrrh can be dated back to an Ebers papirus (circa 1550 BC) recipe for a facial mask.
Nubian Heritage’s traditional soap with raw shea butter is rich in essential vitamins and other nutrients, primarily tocopherol (vitamin E), known for its antioxidant properties. It is enriched with soy milk for a more pronounced moisturising effect, and contains a blend of spice (cardamom, ginger, black pepper) for additional aromatherapeutic benefits.
