Grapefruit & Bergamot Hydrolate Toner is produced by the Ukrainian beauty brand Agor for its natural cosmetic line titled SUMMER TIME SERIES. It is a highly effective product for skin and hair care. Best suited for oily and problem skin. Formulated with grapefruit hydrolate and bergamot hydrolate.
Hydrolates, also known as herbal distillates or flower waters, are aqueous products of steam distillation of plants/herbs. They are essentially diluted essential oils therefore they have all the useful properties of essential oils but are less likely to cause allergic reactions and other adverse effects due to low concentrations. Hydrolates are used as cosmetics for skin and hair care.
Effect on skin. Grapefruit & Bergamot Hydrolate Toner has pronounced cleansing, antibacterial, soothing and toning properties. It helps to remove dirt and make-up residue, eliminates acne, relieves irritation, and helps to normalise sebum secretion. It also tightens pores, whitens the skin, prevents oily shine and blackheads, enhances skin elasticity.
Effect on hair. The toner prevents hair loss by improving microcirculation in the scalp. It also has a refreshing effect and stimulates skin cell renewal.
Aromatherapy. The product has an antidepressant effect. It improves concentration, stimulates mental activity, gives a mood and energy boost, and evokes creativity.
Free of parabens, alcohol, colourants, synthetic fragrances, mineral oil. Not tested on animals.
Directions. Can be used as a toner (spray directly onto skin or onto a cotton pad and then wipe the skin), as a solvent for Agor's powder masks and cleansers (except for alginate masks), as a hair care product (spray onto hair or scalp), as a fabric conditioner when ironing. Do not use in direct sunlight. Shake the bottle before use.
