Hydrolates, also known as herbal distillates or flower waters, are aqueous products of steam distillation of plants/herbs. They are essentially diluted essential oils therefore they have all the useful properties of essential oils but are less likely to cause allergic reactions and other adverse effects due to low concentrations. Hydrolates are used as cosmetics for skin and hair care.
Effect on facial skin. Chamomile Hydrolate Toner has pronounced soothing and antiseptic properties. It effectively relieves itching, redness and flaking, eliminates blackheads and rashes. The product can be used as a treatment for rosacea and allergic reactions. It also has a regenerating effect on the skin.
Effect on body skin. Chamomile hydrolate soothes the skin so it can be used after exfoliation or hair removal as well as to relieve sunburn. You can also use it to treat minor burns (first-degree burns without blisters).
Free of parabens, alcohol, colourants, synthetic fragrances, mineral oil. Not tested on animals.
Directions. Can be used as a toner (spray directly onto skin or onto a cotton pad and then wipe the skin), as a solvent for Agor's powder masks and cleansers (except for alginate masks), as a post-depilatory/sunburn treatment, as an aftershave lotion, as a make-up remover. Shake the bottle before use.
