Hydrolates, also known as herbal distillates or flower waters, are aqueous products of steam distillation of plants/herbs. They are essentially diluted essential oils therefore they have all the useful properties of essential oils but are less likely to cause allergic reactions and other adverse effects due to low concentrations. Hydrolates are used as cosmetics for skin and hair care.
Effect on skin. Rosemary Hydrolate Toner has a cleansing and toning effect on the skin. It helps to unclog pores, prevents greasy shine, eliminates acne and blackheads. The product relieves irritation, prevents stretch marks and premature wrinkles, slows down skin ageing and has a slight lifting effect. Rosemary is known for its healing properties, it helps to treat minor skin injuries and bruises.
Effect on hair. Rosemary hydrolate strengthens hair follicles and thus prevents hair loss and stimulates hair growth. It strengthens the hair from roots to tips, improves hair elasticity and flexibility, prevents split ends.
Aromatherapy. Rosemary water helps to concentrate and improves efficiency.
Free of parabens, alcohol, colourants, synthetic fragrances, mineral oil. Not tested on animals.
Directions. Can be used as a toner (spray directly onto skin or onto a cotton pad and then wipe the skin), as a solvent for Agor's powder masks and cleansers (except for alginate masks), as a hair care product (spray onto hair or scalp), as an air freshener, as a fabric conditioner when ironing. Shake the bottle before use.
