Food grade walnut oil is produced by the Ukrainian brand Ekolux. It is extracted from walnuts by cold pressing. This extraction method allows to obtain food grade culinary oil and to preserve all the useful properties of walnut oil. The oil can be used in food preparation and as a dietary supplement. Suitable for external use as a cosmetic product.
Nutrient content. Walnut kernel oil is remarkable for its high content of polyunsaturated fatty acids. It contains up to 77% polyunsaturated fats, mainly linoleic acid and alpha-linolenic acid. It also contains monounsaturated fats (oleic acid) and a small amount of saturated fats. Vitamins and minerals contained in walnut oil include B vitamins, vitamins A, D, E, PP, K and C, iodine, iron, selenium, copper, calcium, and zinc.
Effect. Regular consumption of walnut oil has a rejuvenating effect on the body. This oil helps to remove radionuclides from the body, lowers blood cholesterol, and boosts the immune system. It can be used as an additional treatment for tuberculosis, chronic arthritis, chronic colitis, otitis, constipation, diabetes, and mucous membrane inflammation. Walnut oil helps to prevent cardiovascular diseases and liver disorders.
It is highly recommended to consult your physician before consuming walnut oil on a regular basis. The product is not a medication.
Precautions and contraindications. Individual intolerance or hypersensitivity, pregnancy, lactation, hepatitis, pancreatitis, cholelithiasis. Not recommended for children under the age of 12.
Dosage and administration. Adults and children 12 years of age or older: 1 teaspoon 2 times a day 30 minutes before meals or once a day in the morning on an empty stomach. Do not wash down with water. Can be added to cold dishes. Can be used externally as a cosmetic product.
