Food grade green walnut oil is produced by the Ukrainian brand Ekolux. This oil is obtained from unripe walnuts. It is extremely rich in useful substances. Green walnut oil can be used as a dietary supplement because it is a great source of polyunsaturated fatty acids and vitamin E. It can also be used as a skincare product.
Nutrient content. Green walnut oil contains polyunsaturated and saturated fatty acids. It has one of the highest polyunsaturated fat contents among vegetable oils. Green walnut oil contains linoleic acid and alpha-linolenic acid. It also contains oleic acid which is a monounsaturated fat as well as saturated fats (palmitic acid and stearic acid). Other active substances contained in the oil include carotenoids, tannins, and a number of minerals (iodine, calcium, magnesium, zinc, phosphorus, iron and cobalt).
Effect. When consumed regularly, green walnut oil improves appetite, stimulates haematopoiesis and cell regeneration, and reduces the harmful effects of radiation. It also has a tumor-suppressive effect. It accelerates recovery after a serious illness or surgery and prevents atherosclerosis, arterial hypertension, and diabetes. Green walnut oil can be used as an additional treatment for liver disorders, chronic colitis, arthritis, and varicose veins.
It is highly recommended to consult your physician before consuming green walnut oil on a regular basis. The product is not a medication.
Precautions and contraindications. Individual intolerance or hypersensitivity, pregnancy, lactation, acute form of peptic ulcer, erosive gastritis, low stomach acid, hepatitis, pancreatitis, cholelithiasis. Not recommended for children under the age of 12.
Dosage and administration. Adults and children 12 years of age or older: 1 teaspoon 2 times a day 30 minutes or once a day in the morning on an empty stomach. Do not wash down with water. Can be used externally as a cosmetic product.
