Juniper Bath Salt is produced by the Ukrainian personal care brand Home Doctor. It is a natural product based on sea salt derived from the water of Saky Lake (Crimea) and enriched with juniper oil and extract. The salt can be used in balneotherapeutic procedures, it is designed to relieve muscle tension.
Saky sea salt is derived from the water of salt lakes located in Western Crimea. It is widely known for its therapeutic properties and thus it is often used in spa treatments. Home Doctor bath salt is based on Saky sea salt infused with juniper extract and essential oil. These natural ingredients are known for their pronounced relaxing, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effect.
Mineral composition. Home Doctor bath salt contains calcium and potassium that normalise the water and salt balance in cells, calcium that improves blood coagulation, magnesium that relaxes muscles and prevents allergies, iron that helps to transport oxygen to cells and tissues, and sulphate ions that have a detoxifying effect.
Additional ingredients. Juniper essential oil, juniper extract.
Mechanism of action. Sea salt helps to normalise skin cell metabolism and provides the skin with minerals. It produces a detoxifying effect and improves skin elasticity. Relaxing baths with sea salt infused with juniper relieve sore muscles and prevent joint pain.
Directions. Dissolve 100 g (4–5 tbsp.) salt in warm water (35-39°С). For a pronounced balneotherapeutic effect, add up to 500 g salt per bath. Take a bath for 10–20 minutes every day or every other day. 10–15 baths required for a visible therapeutic effect.
