• Cotton & Wheat Protein Shower Gel is produced by the Ukrainian cosmetic company Elfa for its Dr. Sante 0% line. This shower gel cleanses the skin very delicately without drying it out and produces a moisturising effect. The product is hypoallergenic and dermatologically tested. Its key ingredients are cotton extract, hydrolysed wheat protein, lavender extract and lactic acid. The shower gel is free of SLS/SLES, parabens, silicones, colourants and fragrance.

  The product is formulated with a delicate detergent base that cleanses the skin very delicately and prevents dry, itchy and flaky skin. It does not contain aggressive surfactants such as sodium lauryl/laureth sulfate. The shower gel is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin prone to allergic reactions.

  Cotton extract contained in the product softens the skin and keeps it hydrated. Hydrolysed wheat protein produces a nourishing effect, improves skin elasticity and helps to retain moisture in the deeper levels of the epidermis. Lavender extract soothes irritated skin and accelerates the healing of minor skin injuries.

  Directions. Apply to wet skin, lather, rinse thoroughly.

     I get dry patches of skin every now and then and most body washes and soaps only make it worse. But this one is different. It is not the only one I can use, but it is the most affordable among hypoallergenic body washes I've tries. It's mild, almost unscented, and not irritating at all. I use special products to fight dry patches and than switch to this one to prevent them from happening again.
