• Russian brand Agafia’s First Aid Kit presents Joint & Lower Back Warming Cosmetic Balm. It is based on a blend of herbs that have long been used in traditional medicine to relieve muscle and joint pain. The effect of the herbs has been enhanced by the achievements of the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industry. The balm is formulated with purified bear fat, a blend of medicinal herbs, shungite, and bee venom. It has been clinically tested at the Central Clinical Hospital of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

  Agafia’s balm has a deep and long lasting warming and soothing effect. Due to a combination of plant- and animal-based ingredients, it stimulates microcirculation and metabolism, prevents stagnation in the joints and spine. Active ingredients contained in the balm also have a relaxing, anaesthetic and anti-inflammatory effect, which contributes to overall well-being.

  The product is formulated with natural ingredients which have been used in traditional medicine for generations. Burdock root and elecampane root, for example, have a strong anti-inflammatory effect and help to relieve pain. Purple marshlocks helps to reduce inflammation in the joints and to get rid of excess fluid, stimulates the regeneration of cartilage and bone tissue.

  River sponge contained in the balm stimulates microcirculation, produces a bactericidal effect, and stimulates the synthesis of biologically active substances. Red pepper has a strong warming effect, and shungite is valued for its anti-swelling, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and soothing properties.

  Finally, bear fat has a warming, vasodilating and anti-inflammatory effect, and bee venom relieves pain and improves joint mobility.

  The balm is not a medicinal product.

  Directions. Apply a small amount of balm to the skin and massage until your skin stars to feel warm. A warm wrap will enhance the effect.

     I have scoliosis and an office job, and it's a really bad combination that I can do nothing about at the moment. Every now and then, my lower back gets really sore, and this balm is the only thing that helps with pain. Although it doesn't contain amy serious painkillers, only natural ingredients, it really works! Love it!
