Ukrainian brand NaturPro presents natural Indian henna powder. This is a 100% natural and safe hair dye prepared from the plant Lawsonia inermis. With henna, you can get a hair color varying from bright red to golden brown. It also helps to eliminate dandruff and makes the hair thicker and stronger.
Henna has long been used in the Arabian Peninsula, Indian subcontinent, Middle East, parts of Southeastern Asia and North Africa, and some other regions. It allows to get a variety of hair colours depending on your natural hair colour and some other factors (for example, the amount of time you let it sit). When mixed with indigo, henna allows to dye the hair dark brown or even black.
While staining your hair, henna also takes good care of it. It makes the hair softer and thicker, improves its elasticity and flexibility, strengthens hair follicles, combats dandruff, restores the hair’s natural shine, repairs and improves hair structure, soothes the scalp, and reduces hair loss. The hair becomes visibly healthier after the first use. Even thin and dull hair gains volume and becomes tamer and more manageable.
Directions. Mix 25–100 g henna powder (depending on the length and thickness of your hair) with hot water (80-100°C) in a non-metallic bowl. Stir well to obtain a thick, lump-free paste. Let it cool and apply to dry, clean hair from root to tip. Put on a shower cap and wrap your head in a towel. Let the dye sit for 30 to 60 minutes, depending on how deep you want the colour to be. Wash your hair with warm water without shampooing to keep the pigment from washing out. To maintain vibrant hair colour, refrain from washing your head for the next 2 or 3 days.
Cautions. Wait for at least 2 weeks after perm or using a chemical dye before dyeing your hair with henna. In case of contact with skin, wash with soap and rinse with warm water.
