• Ukrainian beauty brand Home Doctor presents Eucalyptus Bath Salt with a pronounced anti-cold effect. This is a natural product based on sea salt derived from the water of Saky Lake (Crimea) combined with eucalyptus oil and extract. The product can be used for relaxing baths and balneotherapeutic procedures.

  Saky salt is obtained by vaporising the water of salt lakes located in Western Crimea. It has long been used in therapeutic and spa procedures thanks to its unique mineral composition. The effect of Saky salt is complemented by eucalyptus. Eucalyptus essential oil has a strong antibacterial effect; it effectively eliminates pathogenic microbes that cause the common cold. Besides, eucalyptus produces a refreshing and toning effect on the skin, relieves muscle pain by stimulating blood circulation, and has anti-inflammatory properties.

  Mineral composition. Saky salt contains potassium, calcium, sodium, magnesium, iron, and sulphate ions.

  Mechanism of action. Eucalyptus Bath Salt by Home Doctor normalises epidermal cell metabolism, provides the skin with essential minerals, improves its elasticity, helps to get rid of toxins, and relieves sore muscles. Eucalyptus oil and extract prevent the common cold and help to relieve the early symptoms of upper respiratory tract infections. (Please note that you should not take hot or warm baths if you have fever.)

  Directions. Dissolve 100 g (4–5 tbsp) salt in warm water (35-39°С). For a pronounced balneotherapeutic effect, add up to 500 g salt per bath. Soak in the bath for 10–20 minutes every day or every other day. 10–15 baths required for a visible therapeutic effect. For external use only.

     Love the way this bath salt smells, it's so refreshing. It really does relax me, especially when I combine it with scented candles. A long bath is a reward I give myself after a long, tough day. The salt also helps me with my headaches. And my husband likes to use it when he gets a running nose.
