Energy & Tone Bio Body Scrub is produced by the Russian beauty brand Planeta Organica for its Turbo Berry line. Formulated with acerola (Barbados cherry), it will provide your skin with energy for the whole day, as well as improve skin elasticity. The scrub excellently cleanses the skin without drying it out. Free of SLS, parabens, silicones and mineral oils.
The key ingredient contained in this bio body scrub is acerola, also known as Barbados cherry or West Indian cherry. Native to South and Central America, it is known for being extremely rich in vitamin C (acerola contains 100 times ascorbic acid as oranges). It also contains vitamins A, B1, B2 and B3, as well as provitamin A (carotenoids), flavonoids, potassium, calcium, and phosphorus. Acerola juice provides the skin with antioxidants and enhances its elasticity and firmness.
In addition to Barbados cherry juice, the scrub contains green coffee oil. This ingredient is often found in anticellulite skincare products. Green coffee oil makes the skin smooth and glowing, as well as slows down the ageing process.
The product is formulated with sea salt and powdered dried cranberries that act as natural exfoliants. They delicately remove dead cells, dirt, grime and excess sebum from the skin surface. When used regularly, the scrub makes the skin velvety smooth, prevents premature skin ageing, and helps to lock in moisture.
