  • Russian brand Agafia’s First Aid Kit presents Taiga Star Aromatherapeutic Cosmetic Balm. This is an all-natural herbal rub formulated with a well-balanced blend of essential oils derived from taiga herbs that have been used in traditional medicine for centuries. The product has been clinically tested at the Central Clinical Hospital of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

    Agafia’s aromatherapeutic balm helps to combat the symptoms of the common cold and headache, relieves stress and fatigue, and gives a mood and productivity boost. You can also use it to relax sore muscles and to relieve itching and swelling caused by insect bites.

    The product is based on a blend of corn oil and beeswax, and infused with geranium oil, clove oil, wormwood oil, Baikal skullcap extract, sage oil, tansy oil, juniper oil, Siberian fir oil, wild mint oil, common centaury extract, thyme extract and Chinese angelica-tree extract.

    Essential oils are valued for their antiseptic, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effect. They prevent inflammation and inhibit the growth of pathogenic microbes. In addition, their smell has aromatherapeutic properties. Essential oils contained in this balm have been carefully selected to complement and enhance each other’s effect.

    The balm is not a medicinal preparation.

    Directions. Apply a small amount of balm to the problem areas of your body: the temples, the back of the neck, the wings of the nose, or to the area of an insect bite. The product can also be used for steam inhalation: dissolve ½ tsp balm in ½–1 l hot but not boiling water, inhale the steam for 5–10 minutes. For external use only.

    1. I was my first time purchasing from this store and I was a bit weary, but everything arrived on time and in perfect condition. I'm 100% satisfied with the service!
      As for this product, it's great. I bought it to cope with headaches because I try to avoid taking pain meds whenever it's possible. As soon as I feel a headache coming on, I apply it to my temples. The product has a nice cooling effect and makes me feel better within minutes. The jar is big enough so it lasts really long.
      Just make sure that the stuff doesn't get in your eyes or on damaged skin, it hurts like hell.
