The lip balm is based on two natural waxes, capping wax and carnauba wax. Capping wax is a special type of beeswax that bees produce to cover cured honey; it is considered more valuable than regular beeswax. Carnauba wax is derived from the leaves of Copernicia cerifera, a species of palm tree native to Brazil. These waxes provide excellent protection against harmful environmental factors and help to retain moisture.
Alongside waxes, the lip balm contains high-quality vegetable oils (cocoa butter, olive oil, safflower oil, crambe oil, and Cape chestnut oil, also known as yangu oil) and ultra-pure CO2 extracts (rose hip, walnut leaf and rosemary). Other active ingredients that can be found in the product are bisabolol and vitamins A, C and E.
