Ruby Hair Dye is formulated with natural Indian henna mixed with other Ayurvedic plants plants such as guava, amla, neem and shikakai. These herbs take care of the hair during dyeing and help to keep it strong, healthy, and shiny.
Guava has a pronounced restorative effect. It helps to prevent split ends, boosts hair volume, and makes the hair smoother, shinier, and more manageable.
Amla (Indian gooseberry) prevents premature grey hair, reduces hair loss and stimulates hair growth due to strengthening hair roots, prevents dandruff, helps to neutralise the harmful effects of free radicals, and relieves scalp irritation and inflammation.
Neem is widely known for its antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties. It helps to eliminate dandruff and prevent its recurrence, as well as normalises the hydro-lipid balance of the scalp. In addition, neem helps to boost hair growth, strengthens the hair from root to tip, and gives it a healthy shine.
Finally, shikakai makes the hair thicker, softer and smoother, as well prevents breakage and split ends.
Unlike most chemical dyes, Triuga’s Ruby Hair Dye does not stain the scalp. It is important to note that it is not recommended to use the dye two weeks before or after getting a perm to avoid unforeseen results.
Directions. Mix the dye with warm water in a non-metal bowl to obtain a lump-free paste. You will need 1 pack for short hair, 2 packs for medium length hair and 3 packs for long hair. Let the paste cool, put on protective gloves and apply the dye to dry, unwashed hair from root to tip. Let the dye sit for at least 20 minutes. The longer you leave it on your hair, the darker and deeper colour you will get. In 20 minutes or more, wash your hair thoroughly with warm water without shampooing.
Precautions. In case of contact with skin, wash with soap and rinse thoroughly. Do not use two weeks before or after perm. Conduct a patch test on a small area of skin 48 hours before dyeing to make sure you’re not sensitive to any of the ingredients. Not suitable for dyeing eyebrows or eyelashes.
