Avocado & Shea Facial Soufflé Cream
This soufflé is based on shea butter that deeply nourishes and moisturises the skin, and makes it noticeably softer. Shea butter, also known as karite butter, is extracted from the nut of the shea tree native to Africa. It is rich in essential fatty acids, including oleic acid, stearic acid, linoleic acid, and palmitic acid. Shea butter is widely used in cosmetics as a natural moisturiser. It is renowned for its strong rejuvenating and restorative properties.
The second vegetable oil contained in the cream is avocado oil. It is pressed from the fleshy pulp of the avocado fruit. Avocado oil is widely used as a skincare product because of its high skin penetration and rapid absorption. It is especially good for taking care of dry, mature and ageing skin. The effect of cocoa butter is complemented and enhanced by sweet almond oil. It is obtained from the seed of the almond tree. It contains monounsaturated oleic acid, polyunsaturated linoleic acid, and about 5% saturated fat. Almond oil is a rich source of vitamin E. This oil is good for application to the skin as an emollient. It is great for taking care of delicate baby skin. Almond oil relieves itchy and irritated skin, prevents inflammation, rough skin and premature wrinkles.
Mango & Coconut Facial Soufflé Cream
Mango seed butter, also known as simply mango butter or mango oil, is extracted from the stone of the mango fruit. It is semi-solid at room temperature, but melts on contact with skin. Mango seed butter can be found in suncare balms, baby creams, hair products, and other moisturising products. It has a photoprotective effect and thus prevents photoageing. The butter is also known for its moisturising, regenerative and softening properties. It prevents premature wrinkles and rough skin, improves skin elasticity.
The second vegetable oil contained in the product is coconut oil. It is obtained from the kernel or meat of mature coconuts. Coconut oil is renowned for its high saturated fat content that makes it slow to oxidise. It is a great natural moisturiser. It prevents dry and flaky skin, relieves irritation, helps to keep the skin hydrated for a long time, and speeds up the restoration of sunburnt skin.
