Sterilised and vitaminised Indian henna powder produced by Aasha Herbals gives the hair bright colour and at the same time conditions it. The product is formulated with Indian henna that strengthens the hair, nourishes its roots, prevents hair loss and stimulates hair growth, hydrates the hair along its entire length and gives it brilliant shine.
The effect of Indian henna is enhanced by bhringaraj (false daisy). This Sanskrit name is literally translated as “king of hair”. In the Ayurvedic system, it is classified as rasayana, i.e. a herb for longevity and rejuvenation. Bhringaraj has a powerful antioxidant and antiseptic effect, it helps to keep your hair clean and fresh. It also effectively prevents hair loss and stimulates hair growth.
Shikakai (“fruit for hair”) is considered a good cleanser. It gently cleans your hair thanks to its naturally low pH and regulates sebum secretion. Shikakai also helps to repair the damaged hair structure, relieves scalp irritation and prevents dandruff. It has a conditioning effect, softens the hair and detangles it.
The product also contains amla, also known as Indian gooseberry. Amla is a powerful natural rejuvenating remedy. It is a rich source of vitamin C. Amla has regenerative, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties. It stimulates microcirculation in the scalp, prevents premature grey hair and hair loss.
Directions. Empty one or more sachets of powder (depending on your hair length) into a non-metallic bowl. Add hot water and mix to form a lump free, uniform mixture. Put on protective gloves and cover the upper part of your body with a cape or towel. Using an applicator brush, apply the dye to hair from the roots upwards to the ends. Make sure that the mixture is spread evenly. Leave the dye on for 30-35 minutes or for up to 60 minutes for a darker shade. Wash your hair thoroughly until water becomes clear. Dry and style as usual.
Precautions. Before using, read the attached instructions carefully. Conduct a patch test before using the product (apply a small quantity of dyeing mixture directly to the skin for 48 hours to make sure its use does not result in allergic reactions and/or skin irritation). The final hair colour may vary depending on the original colour and condition of your hair as well as the length of exposure to the dye. The product should not be used for dying the eyebrows or the eyelashes.
