  • Chocolate & Marzipan Sugar Body Scrub is produced by the Ukrainian cosmetic company Elfa for its Fresh Juice series. It is formulated with cane sugar and a combination of natural oils and plant extracts. The product gently cleans your skin from dead epidermal cells, stimulates its regeneration, nourishes and moisturises your skin, making it soft and smooth.

    The sugar scrub contains cane sugar granules as an exfoliating ingredient. They clean your skin from dead epidermal cells and help the scrub’s active ingredients such as cocoa bean extract, cocoa butter, shea butter and almond oil to penetrate deeper into the skin, enriching it with nutrients.

    Regular use of the scrub makes your skin incredibly soft and silky smooth. The product gives it a delightful scent of chocolate-covered marzipan that lasts for several hours.

    Directions. Apply onto wet skin with light, circular motions. Rinse with water. Use once or twice a week.

  • Fresh Juice (Ukraine)

    Fresh Juice is a cosmetic brand owned by the Ukrainian group of companies Elfa that is well-known both in Ukraine and abroad. Elfa launched the Fresh Juice series in 2007. At that time, it was an innovative solution for the Ukrainian cosmetic market as all body care products that comprised the series were formulated with fruit juice concentrates. It is interesting to note that the first products of the brand were sold in Doypacks (sealed plastic bags that are designed to stand upright), which was rather unusual for Ukrainian cosmetics.

    Elfa is one of Ukraine’s largest manufacturers of cosmetics and household products. The concern consists of several Ukrainian companies and a number of production facilities in Poland. Elfa is known for its numerous cosmetic brands such as Elfa Pharm, Dr. Sante, Green Pharmacy, BIO Formula, BabyBorn and others which are popular both in Ukraine and its neighbouring countries.

    Elfa regularly renews and expands its Fresh Line series. For example, in 2011 and 2012 the brand underwent “global” updates.     1. The smell is amazing, like a chocolate dessert, so yummy! It scrubs my skin really well but leaves a kind of oily feeling afterwards. On the one hand it makes my skin feel really smooth, on the other hand I sometimes want to wash it off. So not a bad scrub but I probably will try something else next time.
