Food grade grapeseed oil, also known as grape seed oil or grape oil, is produced by the Ukrainian brand Ekolux. The oil is a by-product of winemaking. It is obtained from the seeds of grapes by cold pressing. Grape seed oil contains a unique combination of fatty acids, it is very rich in minerals and vitamins. It can be used as a dietary supplement, for cooking, and as a cosmetic product.
Nutrient content. Grape seed oil contains 58-78% linoleic acid, 12-28% oleic acid, 5-10% palmitic acid. Other fatty acids contained in the oil include stearic acid, palmitoleic acid, alpha-linolenic acid and arachidic acid. Grape seed oil also contains vitamin E (30 to 120 mg per 100 g), vitamins A, C and PP, B vitamins, sterols, flavonoids, and procyanidins.
Effect. Regular consumption of grape seed oil helps to boost the immune system, reduces the likelihood of cancer, lowers blood cholesterol levels, and reduces inflammation. When applied externally, grape oil has a healing effect. It is used to treat acne, psoriasis and even trophic ulcers. This oil also helps to regulate sebum secretion, makes the skin firmer, keeps it hydrated, provides a toning and rejuvenating effect.
It is highly recommended to consult your physician before consuming grapeseed oil on a regular basis. The product is not a medication.
Precautions and contraindications. Individual intolerance or hypersensitivity, pregnancy, lactation, hepatitis, pancreatitis, cholelithiasis. Not recommended for children under the age of 12.
Dosage and administration. Adults and children 12 years of age or older: 1 teaspoon 2 times a day 30 minutes before meals. Do not wash down with water. Can be added to cold dishes. Can be used externally as a cosmetic product.
