Herbal Face & Body Cleansing Powder by Veda Vedica is based on popular Ayurvedic herbs. For example, the powder contains washnut, also known as Indian soapberry or reetha. This saponin-rich plant is a mild natural surfactant. It effectively removes dirt and grime without stripping your skin off its natural protective lipid barrier. Another important ingredient contained in the powder is Chinese hibiscus valued for its antioxidant properties. It has a rejuvenating effect on the skin, improves microcirculation, relieves inflammation, prevents acne, and tightens pores.
Neem is a strong natural antiseptic. It has pronounced anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory properties. Vetiver keeps the skin hydrated and relieves irritated skin. Multani mitti (cosmetic clay) absorbs excess sebum, deeply cleanses pores and tightens them, produces a toning and lifting effect.
Directions. Mix some powder with water and stir to obtain a creamy paste. Apply to wet skin, massage, rinse thoroughly.
