Ukrainian brand Sulsena presents Anti-dandruff Treatment & Prophylactic Paste 2%. Treatment and prevention are the second step on the way to freedom from dandruff and its consequences. The product is formulated with selenium disulphide, an antifungal active ingredient that inhibits the growth of fungi which cause dandruff and seborrhoeic dermatitis.
Selenium disulphide effectively eliminates Pityrosporum ovale, also known as Malassezia furfur. This fungus is considered to be the main cause of dandruff. The effect of selenium disulphide is complemented and enhanced by other active ingredients contained in the paste. These ingredients prevent the recurrence of dandruff and associated symptoms such as oily scalp caused by increased sebum secretion, itching, and hair loss.
Sulsena paste 2% contains a double amount of selenium disulphide (compared to Sulsena paste 1%) so it can be used both to treat dandruff and as a prophylactic product. Its effectiveness is confirmed by the Bogomolets National Medical University in Kyiv, Ukraine.
The paste has no known side effects and can be used without particular restrictions. Do not use in case of individual intolerance or hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. Avoid contact with eyes and damaged skin.
Directions. Wash your hair with warm water and Sulsena anti-dandruff shampoo. Apply some paste to the scalp at the hair roots and rub it in with circular motions. Leave for 10–15 minutes, then rinse with warm running water.
Ingredients. Aqua, Cetyl Alcohol, Stearyl Alcohol, Sodium Ceteareth Sulfate, Glycerin, Potassium Ceteareth Phosphate, Selenium Sulfide, Parfum, Cinnamic Alcohol, DMDM Hydantoin, Citric Acid.
