Ukrainian brand Aromatika presents burdock oil. This is a 100% natural product that has been used in Europe as a scalp treatment and hair remedy for centuries. Burdock oil is an infused oil, i.e. it is obtained by steeping the dried root of the burdock plant (Arctium lappa) in a carrier oil. That is why it is also known as burdock root macerate.
Burdock oil is rich in essential fatty acids (the exact fatty acid composition depends on the carrier oil that has been used for extraction), phytosterols, tannins, and proteins. These compounds help to keep the hair and scalp healthy. The oil has a pronounced nourishing and regenerative effect.
Burdock oil is primarily used for scalp and hair care. It provides hair follicles with essential nutrients, strengthens hair roots, reduces hair loss and stimulates hair growth, relieves itchy and flaky scalp, helps to combat dandruff, improves hair elasticity and flexibility, repairs damaged hair structure, and restores the hair’s natural shine.
The oil is suitable for all hair types but it is especially recommended for taking care of dry, weak, brittle hair. You can also use it to take care of brittle nails and dry cuticles.
Free of preservatives, colourants and synthetic additives.
Directions. Can be applied as is, mixed with other vegetable and/or essential oils, or added to store-bought cosmetic products. For external use only.
