Sugar Facial Cleansing Gel for Oily and Combination Skin is produced by Ukrainian beauty brand Cocos. It is specifically designed to balance oily and combination skin, as well as to prepare it for chemical peeling. The product cleans the skin very gently without drying it out. Free of SLS/SLES, synthetic dyes and fragrance, and other potential irritants.
This facial cleansing gel is formulated with mild sugar-based surfactants. They effectively remove dirt and excess oil from the surface of the skin without making it feel dry and tight. In addition, it contains ingredients that help to lock in moisture, relieve irritation and inflammation, eliminate pathogenic microbes, and improve complexion.
For example, allantoin and panthenol that can be found in the product are valued for their soothing and regenerative properties. They prevent dry and flaky skin, stimulate epidermal cell renewal, make the skin softer and smoother, and keep it feeling fresh all day long.
The gel has an acidic pH of 4.0–4.2, which is slightly more acidic than the average pH of healthy skin (4.8–4.9). This was done on purpose. Directions. Apply a small amount of gel to damp skin, massage, rinse.
