• Facial Cleansing Gel with Salicylic Acid is produced by Ukrainian beauty brand Cocos. It is specifically designed to take care of oily and combination skin. The key ingredient contained in the product is salicylic acid that has a strong antiseptic effect and therefore helps to combat acne and inflammation. Suitable for teenagers. Free of SLS/SLES, synthetic dyes and fragrance, and other potential irritants.

  Oily skin is characterised by increased sebum secretion. Common problems associated with this skin type include enlarged pores, shiny or dull complexion, blackheads, acne breakouts, and inflammation. To take care of oily/problem skin, you need a special cleanser that balances the skin without stripping it of moisture.

  Cocos presents Facial Cleansing Gel for Oily and Combination skin formulated with mild surfactants. They effectively clean the skin, removing dirt, grime, excess oil and make-up reside from its surface, but they don’t dry the skin out or make it feel tight.

  In addition to surfactants, the product contains salicylic acid. This compound is valued for its antiseptic and exfoliating properties. It helps to combat acne, reduces the secretion of skin oil, removes dead skin cells, stimulates skin renewal, and helps to keep your skin looking fresh and blemish-free throughout the day.

  Allantoin and panthenol that can be found in the product make the skin soft and smooth, help to lock in moisture, and improve regeneration. They are widely used in cosmetics thanks to their moisturising and soothing effect.

  The gel has an acidic pH of 3.5–4.0, which is more acidic than the average pH of healthy skin (4.8–4.9). This was done on purpose. Thanks to acidic pH, the gel inhibits the growth of pathogenic bacteria on the skin surface and prevents acne breakouts and other oily skin problems.

  Directions. Apply a small amount of gel to damp skin, massage, rinse.

     I have very oil skin and I need something to make it feel really clean. This is one of the best products I've tried. It helps contol blemishes and makes my skin feel super fresh. It has a really nice texture, not too thick and not too runny, and easily washes off. I don't use it every day, alternating it with less strong products, but the result is still great.
