  • Anti-Acne Face Mask is produced by Russian beauty brand Cafe Mimi. Based on black charcoal and anise essential oil, it is specifically designed to take care of problem, breakout-prone skin.

    The mask has an anti-acne, cleansing and balancing effect. It normalises sebum secretion in the epidermis, eliminates blackheads and acne, prevents acne scars, kills pathogenic bacteria that live on the skin surface. The product’s key active ingredients include black charcoal, cosmetic clay, anise essential oil and blueberry extract.

    Black charcoal is valued for its absorbent, antibacterial and detox properties. It prevents oily complexion, inflammation and acne scars, helps to get rid of toxins, and combats blackheads. Cosmetic clay complements and enhances the effect of charcoal; it balances the skin and removes dead cells from the skin surface. Anise oil has antiseptic, soothing and toning properties. It improves skin elasticity and makes the skin soft, smooth and glowing. Blueberry extract has antioxidant properties. It neutralises the harmful effects of free radicals and UV rays as well as keeps the skin feeling and looking fresh during the day.

    1. A good mask with a strange odor - not particularly pleasant but tolerable.
      As for effect, it is effective, but you'll have to wait for it. I used it 3 times a week and noticed the first result after 2 weeks of regular use. After the mask my skin feels smooth and not tight. I think it is effective against age-related acne, since this is exactly my case, but I'm not sure if it will help against hormonal acne.
