YAKA presents Sun Protection Fluid for Sunburnt Skin from the brand’s new summer collection. The product actively replenishes moisture in sunburnt skin, stimulates its regeneration and renewal, and relieves itching and pain.

YAKA’s sun protection fluid is a lightweight emulsion that hydrates the skin without leaving it feeling greasy or sticky. It is suitable for all skin types, including even sensitive skin. The product is formulated with panthenol (provitamin B5), bisabolol, shea butter, a blend of vegetable oils and extracts, menthyl lactate, and vitamin E.

Panthenol is a moisturising and regenerative agent. Thanks to its low molecular weight, it penetrates deep into the epidermis and protects it from dehydration, improves skin elasticity and firmness, and stimulates skin renewal.

Shea butter and other carrier oils (grapeseed oil, olive oil, sweet almond oil) normalise the hydro-lipid balance of the skin, stimulate collagen and elastin synthesis, prevent dehydration. Herbal extracts (yarrow, horsetail, St John’s wort, green tea) have soothing, regenerative and antioxidant properties.

Bisabolol is an anti-inflammatory ingredient. It restores the skin’s moisture balance, reduces redness and flaking, relieves pain. Menthyl lactate (a derivative of menthol and lactic acid) cools the skin, reduces inflammation, and stimulates microcirculation. Finally, vitamin E is an antioxidant that boosts skin regeneration, as well as protects the skin from UV rays and free radicals.

The product is free of animal fat. Contains preservatives and dyes approved for use in natural and organic cosmetics. Not tested on animals.

Directions. Use after prolonged sun exposure. Spray on clean skin, massage gently. Suitable for face and body.

  The texture is a little heavy for a fluid, in my opinion. It absorbs better if I apply it to damp skin. But it provides good sun protection and moisturizes well, too, so I like it.
