• Alunite Refreshing Deodorant Spray with peppermint essential oil is a natural and safe product produced by Odessa-based beauty brand Cocos (Ukraine). Thanks to natural ingredients, it prevents body odour for 12 hours and gives a long-lasting sensation of freshness. The product has an invigorating smell that helps to cheer up and forget about everyday problems.

  Mineral salt deodorant sprays by Cocos are formulated with potassium alum, a natural mineral that is widely used in medicine because of its bactericidal and wound healing properties. Alum inhibits the growth of odour-causing bacteria on the skin surface, but doesn’t block perspiration and therefore doesn’t interfere with your body’s thermoregulation mechanisms. Alum-based deodorants don’t clog sweat glands or irritate the skin; on the contrary, they relieve inflammation and speed up the healing of minor skin injuries.

  In addition to potassium alum, the ingredient list of Alunite Deodorant Spray includes moisturising agents (glycerine, trehalose) and peppermint essential oil. Glycerine and trehalose (a type of sugar) prevent skin dehydration by drawing moisture from the air and keeping it in the epidermis. Peppermint essential oil helps alum to combat bacteria and gives the deodorant its fresh, invigorating smell. In addition, the scent of peppermint oil has a positive effect on the psycho-emotional state. It improves physical and mental performance, relieves nervous tension and headaches, and gives the immune system a boost.

  The deodorant doesn’t stain clothes or leave the skin feeling sticky after application. It can be applied to armpits and feet.

  Directions. Spray on clean skin from a distance of about 30 cm. Wait until completely dry before putting on clothes or shoes. The deodorising effect lasts up to 12 hours.

  Ingredients. Aqua (Purified Water), Glycerin, Potassium Alum, Trehalose, Polysorbate 20, Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Essential Oil.

     I thought I was buying a deodorant spray but I actually bought a multi-purpose product. Yes, it's a great deodorant with a subtle smell of penthol and a nice cooling effect (perfect for hot weather!), but I also use it as an aftershave lotions and as a face toner when I get pimples. It soothes the skin and doesn't make it dry thanks to glycerin. An excellent product!
