Like all handmade soaps produced by Cocos, this soap is based on a blend of saponified vegetable oils (coconut oil, olive oil, palm kernel oil, castor oil, shea (karite) butter and cocoa butter). Unlike soaps based on animal fat or facial cleansers with synthetic surfactants such as SLS/SLES, natural vegetable soaps cleanse the skin very delicately and don’t make it feel dry and tight.
In addition to saponified oils, the soap contains natural active ingredients, such as macadamia oil, silk protein, tea rose essential oil and rosewood essential oil. Macadamia oil is a valuable source of essential fatty acids and antioxidants that nourish the skin, prevent dehydration and slow down skin ageing. Hydrolysed silk protein compensates for the lack of collagen and elastin in mature skin, boosting its elasticity and firmness. Essential oils have an antibacterial effect and give the soap its nice floral smell.
