The formula of Cocos mineral deodorant sprays is based on a potassium alum solution. Potassium alum, sometimes referred to as Alunite (hence the deodorant name) is a natural mineral that is widely used in cosmetology and medicine thanks to its antibacterial, astringent and wound healing properties.
Potassium alum inhibits the growth of pathogenic bacteria that cause body odour, but it doesn’t affect perspiration and thermoregulation, clog pores or cause irritation and inflammation. In addition to potassium alum, Alunite deodorant spray contains moisturising ingredients (glycerine and trehalose), coffee extract and cinnamon essential oil.
