Ukrainian-Indian brand Chandi presents Multani Mitti, a special type of cosmetic clay which has a wide range of useful properties. It is widely used in cosmetology and dermatology, both as a cosmetic and as a treatment for acne and other skin problems. Multani Mitti is suitable for all skin types, including problem skin.
Multani Mitti (“mud from Multan”) is also known as whitening clay thanks to its ability to improve complexion. It makes the skin lighter and helps to get rid of undesired pigmentation. The product relieves irritated skin, make it smoother and healthier, unclogs pores, and produces a light peeling effect. By removing dead epidermal cells, Multani Mitti helps the skin to absorb useful substances from other cosmetic products.
Due to its high mineral content, Multani Mitti effectively strengthens the hair and nails. As a natural absorbent, it can be used as a dry shampoo. Besides, Indian cosmetic clay has pronounced antibacterial and detoxifying properties. It is sometimes used in traditional medicine to relieve joint pain.
Directions. Mix some powder with lukewarm water and stir to form a moderately thick paste. Apply to skin and leave to dry for about 15 minutes. Rinse with warm water.
