Natural henna is probably the most popular herbal hair dye. It is obtained from leaves of the plant Lawsonia inermis. Unlike natural henna, neutral henna does not change the colour of hair. It is obtained from the plant Senna italica, also known as Cassia obovata.
Neutral henna actively strengthens weak and lifeless hair, keeps the hair looking healthy and well-groomed, restores its natural shine. It also regulates sebum secretion and thus prevents greasy hair. Neutral henna can be used to restore hair structure damaged by bleaching, dyeing, perm, blow-drying or heat styling. Neutral henna is a natural hair conditioner. It prevents tangling and makes combing and styling easier. Besides, it nourishes the hair and scalp, strengthens hair follicles, repairs thin and damaged hair, eliminates dandruff, and protects the hair from harmful environmental factors such as UV rays. Neutral henna makes the hair thicker, enhances its volume, and reduces hair loss.
Directions. Mix some powder with hot water (60-70°) in a non-metallic bowl and stir to form a moderately thick paste. You can add cosmetic oils or herbal extracts to complement and enhance the effect of neutral henna. Apply to hair and leave for 30–60 minutes. Rinse thoroughly. Use 1–2 times a week.
