Ukrainian beauty brand Triuga presents brahmi powder. It is a 100% natural product that can be used for both skin and hair care. Named after the creator god of the Hindu pantheon, it is one of the most widely used Ayurvedic remedies.
Brahmi powder is obtained from the plant Bacopa monnieri, also known as water hyssop or Indian pennywort. It is a perennial, creeping herb that can be found in many parts of the world, most commonly in India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Vietnam, Taiwan, China, and Pakistan. It has been used in traditional Ayurveda to treat a variety of conditions because of its antioxidant properties.
Brahmi powder is widely used in skin and hair care thanks to its antioxidant, rejuvenating, anti-inflammatory, and revitalising properties. Regular homemade face masks with brahmi powder will make your skin look fresh and glowing, improve skin elasticity and complexion, and even smooth out fine lines.
When used for hair care, brahmi powder repairs dry and damaged hair, makes it stronger and softer, combats dandruff, and prevents itchy and flaky scalp. In addition, it improves microcirculation in the scalp and therefore stimulates dormant hair follicles and promotes hair growth.
Directions. Mix 1 tsp powder with warm water to get a smooth paste. Apply to your skin or hair. Leave for 15–20 minutes, rinse with warm water. Apply skin toner and moisturiser.
