Ukrainian beauty brand Triuga presents neem powder. This is a 100% natural Ayurvedic product that has been used in India for more than 2,000 years for its medicinal properties. Today, neem is widely used in skin and hair care thanks to its antibacterial and antiseptic effect.
Neem powder is obtained from the plant Azadirachta indica, also known as nimtree or Indian lilac. It is a tree in the mahogany family native to the Indian subcontinent (India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Maldives). The product relieves itchy and flaky scalp, strengthens hair roots, restores the hair’s natural elasticity, flexibility and healthy glow, and promotes hair growth.
Directions. Mix 1 tsp powder with warm water to get a smooth paste. Apply to your skin or hair. Leave for 15–20 minutes, rinse with warm water. Apply skin toner and moisturiser.
To make a neem decoction, put 1 tbsp powder into 500 ml water, bring to a boil, let simmer for 3 minutes. Let steep for 3 to 5 hours, strain before use.
To make a neem infusion, pour 500 ml warm water over 1 tbsp neem powder, leave overnight. Strain before use.
You can use neem decoction or infusion to wash or wipe your face, or as a hair rinse.
Conduct sensitivity test before use. In case of contact with eyes, rinse with plenty of water.
