  Ayurvedic scrub, also known as ubtan, is a skincare product consisting of dried and powdered herbs, minerals, and other natural ingredients. It can be used as a scrub or as a facial mask. Ubtan for oily and problem skin by Swan is based on Ayurvedic herbs that complement each other’s effect, helping to make oily and problem skin look and feel healthy.   Directions. Scrub: mix 1 tsp ubtan with water to obtain a thick paste. Apply to damp skin, massage, leave for 1–2 minutes, rinse thoroughly. Mask: apply paste to clean skin, leave until dries, rinse thoroughly.

     I like to use ubtan as a herbal mask. I make a mask like this: I apply the powder diluted in water on cleansed face. The consistency of the ubtan is rather rough, and I don’t use it as scrub. After 5-7 minutes, the mask begins to dry out. As soon as there is a slight discomfort, I wash off the mask, wipe my face, then apply the cream. The aroma of dry ubtan is very pleasant: rich, mint, oriental. During application to the skin, it pleasantly cools the skin. After washing, the skin feels the effect of cleanliness and breathing pores. I apply this mask once a week. The composition and effect are great, my combination skin is fresher and has become smoother and cleaner. (Sorry for the mistakes, English is not my native language.)
