Ukrainian beauty brand Triuga presents arjuna powder. It is a 100% natural Ayurvedic product which is widely used for skincare. Arjuna is suitable for taking care of all skin types, including problem skin.
Arjuna powder is obtained from the plant Terminalia arjuna, also known as arjun tree, thella maddi, kumbuk, marudha maram, neer maruthu, or hole matthi. It was originally introduced into Ayurveda as a treatment for heart disease, which earned arjuna the nickname “guardian of the heart”. Today, it is also widely used in cosmetology, especially in treatments for problem skin, thanks to its antiseptic effect.
Arjuna powder has pronounced antioxidant, antibacterial, toning, rejuvenating, and anti-age properties. When used regularly, it improves microcirculation in the epidermis, gives the skin a healthy glow, enhances skin elasticity, protects the skin from the environment, normalises skin cell metabolism, and relieves dry and flaky skin.
Arjuna is especially great for taking care of problem skin due to its antibacterial, antiseptic, and regenerative properties. It eliminates acne-causing bacteria, prevents breakouts, and speeds up the healing of minor skin injuries.
Directions. Mix 1 tsp powder with warm water to get a smooth paste. Apply to your skin or hair. Leave for 15–20 minutes, rinse with warm water. Apply skin toner and moisturiser.
To make an arjuna decoction, put 1 tbsp powder into 500 ml water, bring to a boil, let simmer for 3 minutes. Let steep for 3 to 5 hours, strain before use.
To make an arjuna infusion, pour 500 ml warm water over 1 tbsp arjuna powder, leave overnight. Strain before use.
You can use arjuna decoction or infusion to wash or wipe your face, or as a hair rinse.
Conduct sensitivity test before use. In case of contact with eyes, rinse with plenty of water.
