Peach kernel oil, also known simply as peach oil, is a carrier oil obtained from peach seeds. It closely resembles almond oil and apricot kernel oil because peaches, almonds and apricots belong to the same genus. All three oils are chiefly composed of unsaturated fats.
Peach kernel oil is widely used in skin and hair care because of its light texture and pronounced moisturising properties. It contains vitamins A, C, E and P, B vitamins, phospholipids, calcium, potassium, phosphorus and iron. These nutrients make the skin soft and smooth, help to keep it hydrated and produce an anti-age effect.
You can also use peach oil to take care of your hair. It provides hair follicles with essential nutrients, helping to reduce hair loss and stimulate hair growth. In addition, this oil strengthens the hair, enhances its elasticity and flexibility, and helps to restore the hair’s natural healthy shine.
Storage conditions. Keep tightly closed at temperatures of +5 – +25 °С, away from direct sunlight.
Directions. Skin care: apply a small amount of oil to damp skin. Can be used for massage. Hair care: apply a small amount of oil to your scalp and hair roots, massage, then spread along the entire length. Leave for 20 minutes, shampoo and rinse thoroughly. Peach kernel oil can be added to store-bought cosmetic products. For external use only.
