Dark Brown Henna Hair Dye is produced by the India-based company Creative Research Labs for Lady Henna. This is a 100% natural hair dye that gives the hair a rich dark brown colour and at the same time makes it shinier and gives the hair additional volume. Free of ammonia and peroxide. Does not irritate the scalp.
The key ingredient contained in the product is premium-quality henna hand-picked in the Indian state of Rajasthan. Rajasthan henna is considered to be one of the best in the world because it has excellent dyeing properties. In addition, it takes good care of the hair, making it stronger, softer and thicker. Henna improves hair elasticity and flexibility, restores its natural shine, and prevents dry and brittle hair.
Alongside henna, the dye contains catechu. This Ayurvedic herb is rich in tannins and has long been used as a brown pigment. It complements and enhances the dyeing effect of henna, making the hair deep brown. Besides, catechu relieves itchy and flaky scalp, combats dandruff, and prevents inflammation.
Precautions. Apply to clean, dry hair. Before using, read the attached instructions carefully. The final hair colour may vary depending on the original colour and condition of your hair as well as the time of exposure to the dye. Not suitable for dyeing eyebrows or eyelashes!
To make sure you’re not sensitive to any of the ingredients and to prevent skin irritation and/or allergic reactions, do a sensitivity test before using the product. At least 24 hours before the intended use, apply a small quantity of the dyeing mixture to an inconspicuous area of the skin. If there’s no redness, itching or burning, the product is safe to use.
Package contents. Lady Henna powder dye 6 x 10 g sachets, measuring cup, gloves, applicator brush, shower cap, instructions.
Directions. Empty one or more sachets of powder into a glass or porcelain bowl. Add 30 ml hot water per 10 g/1 sachet powder. Mix to form a moderately thick, lump-free paste. Using an applicator brush, apply to hair and spread evenly. Put on a shower cap and let the dye sit for at least 30 minutes (50–60 minutes for a deeper shade of brown). Wash your hair thoroughly.
The amount of dye needed depends on the length of your hair. Use 10-30 g (1-2 sachets) for short hair, 40-60 g (4-6 sachets) for medium length hair, 70-90 g (7-9 sachets) for long hair.
