Mayur. Black Henna Eyebrow Tint & Mehndi Dye, 10 g

Ukrainian-Indian beauty brand Mayur presents Black Henna Eyebrow Tint & Mehndi Dye. This is a multi-purpose product that can be used to dye eyebrows and for traditional Indian body art (mehndi). The dye is formulated with henna and other plant-based ingredients. It’s safe and natural, which is confirmed by a quality certificate issued by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

Henna is a natural hair dye obtained from the plant Lawsonia inermis native to western and southern Asia, northern Africa, and northern Australia. Historically, henna dye has been used in parts of Asia and Africa for body art and as a hair/eyebrow dye. Pure henna stains the skin reddish brown, but it can be mixed with herbs and other ingredients to achieve other shades, including black. For example, black henna dye by Mayur contains bhrihgraj, gotu kola, haritaki and bibhitaki.

Mayur’s black henna dye is perfect for mehndi, a form of body art in which decorative designs are created on one’s skin using henna paste. In the West, mehndi decorations are often referred to as henna tattoos, and black mehndi dye is a perfect way to create a “tattoo-black” appearance without actually getting a permanent tattoo.

You can also use the product as an eyebrow tint to define the shape of your eyebrows and make them look more expressive. When applied correctly, henna tint lasts for up to two weeks, during which you won’t need to use eyebrow pencil to make your eyebrows look well-groomed.

The product is free of ammonia and hydrogen peroxide. However, we recommend that you apply a small amount of henna paste to an inconspicuous area of the skin before use to make sure you aren’t allergic to any of the ingredients.

Directions. Mix a small amount of powder with warm water to obtain a smooth paste. Apply paste to your eyebrows or skin with a thin brush and leave for 30 minutes. Wipe with a damp cotton pad. To make your henna tattoo last longer, apply some coconut oil on it.
