Red Henna Based Hair Dye is produced by Triuga, a Ukrainian beauty brand known for its natural skin and hair care products based on old Ayurvedic recipes. The product will give your hair a rich and radiant red colour, as well as restore and maintain its natural strength and healthy shine. Ammonia free.
The key active ingredient in this herbal hair dye is henna powder. It has been long used as a natural hair dye in the Indian subcontinent and some other regions of Asia. Henna dye is obtained from the plant Lawsonia inermis; it can be used to achieve different shades of colour, depending on the original colour of the hair and other factors. Unlike chemical dyes, henna doesn’t damage the hair on make it weaker. On the contrary, it improves hair structure, boosts its elasticity and flexibility, and reduces hair loss.
In Triuga’s Red Hair Dye, henna powder is mixed with other Ayurvedic herbs like amla, neem, guava and shikakai. They provide hair follicles with the nutrients they need, stimulate hair growth, prevent dandruff and itchy scalp.
Thanks to these herbs, the product not only dyes the hair but also has a conditioning effect. It makes the hair more manageable, keeps it from getting tangled, facilitates combing and styling.
Directions. Mix the dye with warm water in a non-metallic bowl to obtain a lump-free paste. You’ll need 1 pack for short hair, 2 packs for medium length hair and 3 packs for long hair. Let the paste cool, put on protective gloves and apply the dye to dry, unwashed hair along the entire length. Let the dye sit for at least 20 minutes. The longer you leave it on your hair, the deeper colour you’ll get. In 20 minutes or more, wash your hair thoroughly without shampooing.
Precautions. In case of contact with skin, wash with soap and rinse thoroughly. Do not use two weeks before or after perm. Conduct a patch test on a small area of skin 48 hours before dyeing to make sure you’re not sensitive to any of the ingredients. Not suitable for dyeing eyebrows or eyelashes.
