Directions.
To make a skin/hair mask, mix 1 tsp eucalyptus powder with warm water to get a smooth paste. Apply to your skin or hair. Leave for 15–20 minutes, rinse with warm water. Follow up with skin toner and/or moisturiser, if necessary.
To make a decoction, put 1 tbsp powder into 500 ml water, bring to a boil, let simmer for 3 minutes. Let steep for 3 to 5 hours, strain before use.
To make an infusion, pour 500 ml warm water over 1 tbsp eucalyptus powder, leave overnight. Strain before use. The infusion can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
You can use eucalyptus decoction or infusion to wash or wipe your face, or as a hair rinse. Eucalyptus powder can be mixed with other Ayurvedic powders for a better effect.
Check for skin sensitivity before use. In case of contact with eyes, rinse with plenty of water.
