100% natural jambolan powder is an effective product for regular skin and hair care produced by Triuga, a popular Ukrainian brand of Ayurvedic products. It is free of any additives and can be used to make various DIY skin and hair care products. Suitable for all skin and hair types.
Jambolan, also known as Malabar plum, Java plum or black plum, is an evergreen tropical tree native to the Indian Subcontinent, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, and parts of China and Australia. It is also commonly grown in Guyana, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, and parts of the United States. The fruits of the tree are edible; they are rich in B vitamins, vitamin C and dietary minerals (calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, sodium).
Practically all parts of the plant (leaves, fruit, seeds, bark) are used in various traditional medicinal systems, such as Ayurveda, Chinese medicine and Unani (Perso-Arabic system of medicine). Jambolan powder has potent cleansing and antiseptic properties. In addition, it contains biologically active substances that effectively prevent skin irritation and inflammation, as well as acne breakouts.
When used as a skincare product, jambolan powder normalises the production of sebum (skin oil) and prevents oily shine, helps to treat dermatitis, and speeds up the healing of minor skin injuries.
As a hair care product, jambolan repairs damaged hair structure and strengthens the hair from root to tip. It also prevents dandruff and has a great cleansing effect, helping to remove impurities and excess sebum from the hair and scalp. If you use jambolan powder regularly, your hair will become visibly thicker and stronger.
