Ukrainian beauty brand Triuga presents 100% natural rice bran oil. It is suitable for both skin and hair care, which makes it a very popular cosmetic oil. The product is completely free of any additives.
Rice bran oil is an edible oil extracted from rice husks (the hard outer layer of rice). It contains 38% monounsaturated (oleic acid), 37% polyunsaturated (linoleic and alpha-linolenic acid), and 25% saturated (myristic acid, palmitic acid, stearic acid) fatty acids. Also present are tocotrienols and tocopherols (two types of vitamin E), phytosterols, and other beneficial chemical compounds.
Rice bran oil is widely used as a skincare product due to its moisturising properties. It helps to keep the skin hydrated, restores its protective lipid barrier, prevents inflammation and flaking, and boosts the regeneration of sunburnt skin.
This oil also helps to relieve allergic reactions, prevents stretch marks and acne scars, and reduces the appearance of cellulite. Finally, rice bran oil helps to protect the skin from the cold, heat, wind, and UV radiation.

Directions. The oil can be applied as is or mixed with other carrier oils. It can also be used to dilute essential oils or added to creams, lotions, shampoos, hair conditioners and other off-the-shelf cosmetic products. Apply to wet skin. Rub into hair roots and then spread from root to tip.
